Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Jakeen W. Johnson, who serves patients in Kingwood, Texas.

A caring and compassionate pediatrician, Dr. Johnson joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Kingwood, Texas in July of 2005. Her areas of clinical interest include childhood obesity, nutrition, asthma, and allergies. A 2002 graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr. Johnson went on to perform her internship and residency in pediatrics with Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals. Following her training, she attained board certification in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). Practicing medicine in Texas, Dr. Johnson is affiliated with Texas Children’s Hospital, and The Woman’s Hospital of Texas.Among her professional affiliations, she is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Houston Medical Association Forum, and the National Medical Association.
