Jakeen W. Johnson, MD, attended the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, and received his medical degree in 2002. She then served her internship and pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Texas (2002-2005). In addition, Dr. Johnson received board certification in pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics. In an effort to remain at the forefront of pediatrics, she maintains active memberships of the Houston Medical Association Forum, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the National Medical Association.
